INTRODUCTION:

Most of you have heard of corporate wellness in the workplace - well the Kapnick wellness program Kapnick strive® has created quite a buzz - in fact there is an article about Kapnick strive® for upcoming Crain's Detroit Magazine article concerning Michigan's healthiest employers. We also have been getting some great testimonials - below are two testimonials from our clients that utilize the program at their business.

“Our wellness program with Kapnick strive® has made our employees/families more aware of the importance of making their health and wellness a priority. Like our safety program, our wellness program invests in our employees so they become aware of their risk factors and work on reducing those factors, as we continue to encourage a safe/healthy behavior.   We not only look at the financial investment of the  employee /family - we want them to understand how important it is for them to invest in their own well-being and the need to change lifestyle and behaviors if necessary. We have seen an increase of linking preventative annual physical examinations while using the results of their health screening results, which saves them out of pocket cost.

We use a wealth of educational materials and constant encouragement for healthy behaviors that can reduce those risks factors. We love to hear the buzz word "Health Score" coming from employees in a positive manner.  And since 81% of the participants are men - talking about eating habits, and increased activities... that alone is fantastic.   We see healthier eating habits, less pop is visible, and more water is consumed.  Cooperative Elevator now supplies alternative  choices at meetings for snacks, and we seldom have donuts as a snack choice at meetings. Donuts have been replaced by fruits and granola bars/breakfast bars. Just awareness alone has made an impact on everyone, including those that do not participate in the wellness program.”
