Starting January 1, we’re excited to introduce a new Direct Primary Care (DPC) benefit available to employees and their covered dependents.
The great news — there’s no additional cost at the time of service. Membership Access to these services has been built into your existing medical premiums, making high-quality, convenient primary care easier than ever to access.
WHAT IS DIRECT PRIMARY CARE (DPC)?
Direct Primary Care gives you access to the same care you would typically receive from your primary care provider right here at Mary Free Bed through our Employee Health Department. It’s convenient, accessible, and designed around you.
WHO WILL PROVIDE THIS CARE?
You’ll be cared for by Olivia Cain, PA-C, a certified Physician Assistant with more than 13 years of experience managing primary care for her own patient panel. Olivia is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized care to Mary Free Bed employees and their families.
WHAT SERVICES ARE INCLUDED?

Preventive primary care, including annual exams

Same-day visits for non-emergency issues (e.g., respiratory, stomach, skin, or cardiac concerns)
- Urgent care needs requiring provider intervention (e.g., cuts, sprains, minor injuries)
WHAT SERVICES ARE NOT INCLUDED?

- Laboratory services beyond those typically performed in a primary care setting
