Bill spent the past seven years working as a senior account executive and sales consultant to clients all over the United States. His responsibilities included new business sales as well as current client retention. Before working at the Hylant, Bill held sales and management positions at Armstrong Robitaille Riegle Insurance. He is a University of Michigan graduate and former captain of the golf team.

Tyrone comes to Kapnick from the OPG Benefits, located in Brighton, MI. Tyrone spent the past three years working as a senior account executive and sales consultant to clients all over the state of Michigan. His responsibilities included new business sales as well as current client retention. Before working at the OPG, Tyrone held sales and management positions at Bankers Life and Casualty and DHL. He is a University of Michigan graduate and former member of the football team.

When Walbridge wanted to build a healthier workforce and provide a more robust benefit program for employees, they relied on Kapnick.
As an organization, you say promote wellness in the workplace. But does your organization actually practice wellness? I still find it fascinating when I walk into an employer’s wellness meeting or lunchroom and there in the back of the room is a box of donuts. And while a doughnut every now and then isn’t the end of the world, what I am trying to convey is that many organizations contradict what they are trying to accomplish by asking their employees to do something when the company, the culture and the environment does not incentivize good behavior and healthier life choices. Many employers who implement wellness programs still have poor vending machine options, smoking break areas that are easily accessible and accommodating, and at the end of the day are not making it easy for their employees to choose a healthier lifestyle. Employers are making it easy to continue to do what they always have done but somehow expect a different outcome.
Most runners’ take in enough calories and nutrients, but the problem is the form. Most will consume energy bars, nutrient-enhanced drinks, and packaged foods to meet their demand. When real foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats are much better for you! If you follow these five rules every day, your body will get everything it needs for better running and better health.
