Kapnick Insurance Group is pleased to announce the addition of Rubin Torrez to its Employee Benefits Practice. Rubin comes to Kapnick from Willis Towers Watson, located in Farmington Hills. Rubin has spent the past 4.5 years in key roles such as Client Service Lead, Practice Leader and Private Exchange Office Lead for the Michigan Benefits Practice.  His responsibilities included new business sales, client retention and oversight of the day to day operations of the benefit practice. Before working at the Willis, Rubin held sales and management positions at other regional brokerage firms.

In his position as a client executive at Kapnick Insurance Group, he will work to procure new business and manage these accounts. Though he will be working with all types of employers, he has a great deal of experience working with middle market organizations to create multi-year strategies to mitigate and offset risk associated with Health and Welfare Plans.   According to Jim Kapnick, CEO, “With his vast knowledge of employee benefits, and specialization in several key industries, Rubin will be a valuable asset to the Kapnick team.
