On November 9, 2012 Governor Snyder cut the ribbon on a new training facility called the Michigan Cyber Range which according to their press release is designed to train cyber security professionals for the detection and prevention of cyber attacks in a real-world setting. Set up by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) as a national defense test bed for critical security research and run by Merit Network in Ann Arbor, Michigan’s version of the 1983 movie “War Games” is alive and well - but without the outcome of the world hanging in the balance!

Commercial Insurance Sales as a Career - Find a Great Job in Insurance

I would guess that 95% of folks in the insurance field did not plan on making a career out of it. Normally individuals from both the sales and service side might somehow stumble upon an opportunity in this field. But interestingly enough throughout my 17 year Insurance career, I have noticed that few people leave the industry, especially if they work for an established, best in class organization that rewards employees for collective success.

The other day I posted this quote on my Facebook page about the importance of writing down what you eat – “The biggest lie I tell myself is I don’t need to write down everything I eat, I’ll remember it later.” I have heard this countless times and I have said it myself but when it comes to food journals you have to write everything down. Here are some questions I have received over the past few months along with the answers I provided.
